PlayWaffle is a word puzzle where five words are scrambled across a crossword-style grid, three going horizontally and two going vertically. Some tiles start green, already in the right spot. Yellow means the tile is in the correct word but the wrong position. Grey means it doesn't belong in that word at all. You swap two tiles at a time and try to get every word solved within your swap limit.
The daily version is the same puzzle for everyone playing that day, which makes it easy to compare scores with friends. One shot per day, and then you wait for midnight.
Take a full look at the board before your first swap. The daily only gives you one attempt and there's no reset, so a few seconds of planning upfront saves you from spending extra swaps fixing a move you made without thinking.
Use the intersection tiles as anchors. The green letters where rows and columns cross are locked in place. Figure out what word each anchor belongs to and work outward from those confirmed positions rather than guessing from the edges.
Yellow tiles narrow down your options significantly. If a tile is yellow, it's in the right word but wrong position. Most of the time that leaves only one or two valid places for it to go, so treat a yellow as a near-solved tile rather than an unknown one.
Don't try to fix two words at the same time with one swap. Tiles at intersections affect both a horizontal and a vertical word. A swap that looks right from one direction can quietly knock a different word off course.
